“We loved our trip to the market with Gustavo where he expertly guided us around and introduced us to many spices and foods, as well as the heritage of the Mayan people. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as a good conversationist. We then took an Uber out to his mother’s house where we prepared the ingredients for a delicious meal. Gustavo’s mother Lilia was delightful and we had a really wonderful time. I would highly recommend this cooking experience.”

“The cenotes were very cool. Chichén Itzá was amazing to see. Izamal was also a very cool experience. However, we were told we would have a guide. All we got was a driver. Our driver was very very nice but nobody was guiding us anywhere. We didn’t get a lot of time at either of the cenotes. We were also told we would eat dinner at an hacienda but ended up at a small restaurant with a different name that didn’t seem to be as good. While the food was included, none of the tickets were. Overall this trip was very good but not worth the price.”

“We bought reposado tequila made by a distillery at the cenote and when got it home it was half water! They packaged it for me to fly home so of course I didn’t open it and when I gave it to my friend as a gift he told me it was very watered down. I paid $75 USD for nothing! Do not fall for this scam. I’m so disappointed!!”
