“We enjoyed out boat trip very much. Once we got to the location, everyone was welcomed professionally, were checked in and received a color coded ticket so we knew which boats to board. Our guide Jose’s English wasn’t the best (Spanglish as he called it) but was very cheery and enthusiastic, and really tried to convey the information about the lake while boating us around which resulted in some hilarious moments. The drinks were nice and cool, with various options to choose from. One star deducted due to not being available to contact them prior to the booking. When I called that morning with questions, the person answering hung up…”

“I participated in the combo tour and it was excellent value for money with Carol our versed tour guide explaining the history of the Chacchoben Mayan ruins and then a wonderful experience on the Bacalar lagoon. Everything was well timed and time flew fast without feeling rushed nor bored. A delicious lunch is included at a local restaurant and we were even served exotic fruits as our group waded in the beautiful blue shades of the Bacalar lagoon.
