“Posting this to help other travelers-especially cruise passengers-avoid a stressful and unsafe experience. While the water and sandbar are beautiful, the excursion itself was poorly run. We only saw 3 starfish that seemed more for photo props. It took about 90 minutes to reach the snorkel site, and getting in required jumping off the side of the boat (the ladder was only used for getting back in). Food was served while everyone was still in the water, with wet hands grabbing food. No plates or anything. We didn’t end up eating & my child was starving. There were serious safety concerns, including people peeing off the back of the boat…”

Getting to swim down to see the many starfish up close was really interesting. We didn't see any turtles on this trip but three rays hung around us on the sandbar swimming around us as we ate.
