★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 1,041 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $65

Snorkel Cozumel’s turtle waters and El Cielo starfish sand, then relax at Cielito with snacks, drinks, and a sunset sail back.

“Posting this to help other travelers-especially cruise passengers-avoid a stressful and unsafe experience. While the water and sandbar are beautiful, the excursion itself was poorly run. We only saw 3 starfish that seemed more for photo props. It took about 90 minutes to reach the snorkel site, and getting in required jumping off the side of the boat (the ladder was only used for getting back in). Food was served while everyone was still in the water, with wet hands grabbing food. No plates or anything. We didn’t end up eating & my child was starving. There were serious safety concerns, including people peeing off the back of the boat…”

“Carlos was amazing and great to work with. We had a little mix up about the meeting point so he ended up coming directly to us which made things easy. He has great knowledge about the Island and the Culture as we wanted our kids to actually learn something while on vacation and not just do Waterparks. He tailored this experience to what we wanted from the Caves, to Mayan Ruins, to our Snorkeling adventure. We must have seen 300 fish around us at one time. Simply amazing for my kids to have this experience. I highly recommend this trip for your family and do t forget to ask for…”

“We just finished this tour a few hours ago. Our crew was Little Turtle, Pork Chop and Leo. They were fun and great at their jobs. We snorkeled at three different spots of different depths and finished by going to a sandbar to stand in the water and have our food. Getting to swim down to see the many starfish up close was really interesting. We didn't see any turtles on this trip but three rays hung around us on the sandbar swimming around us as we ate. We had also seen a couple during our snorkeling. That part was really amazing. We've seen turtles before but seeing the starfishes…”

“We had an absolutely amazing snorkeling trip near Cozumel with our guide Andy! He took us to three fantastic spots, each one more beautiful than the last. We were lucky enough to swim alongside sea turtles, rays, and huge schools of colorful fish. At one spot we even discovered some starfish, which was incredible to see up close. To top it all off, the day ended with a delicious snack and a shot of tequila on a shallow beach while rays gracefully swam around us. It truly felt magical — a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll never forget. Andy was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole adventure feel safe and fun. We…”
